About Me

"Every tattoo project is an act of self-realization, and I’m honored to help clients bring their vision to life."

I have always felt a pull towards the world of tattooing; when I was young, I would curiously pour over images of Japanese bodysuits, and was fascinated by traditional styles of tattoo art. My mother was a professional artist by trade, and while we always had materials around to experiment with, I never seriously considered tattooing as a career until my twenties. Other kids I knew from college were now flourishing in tattoo careers, and it made me feel that it might be possible for me to succeed like they had.

I started to research what it might take to go from simply being "good at art" to become competent enough to tattoo someone.

My path as a professional tattoo artist began with getting tattoo work by artists I admired and completing an apprenticeship in 2012. I continue to learn with every project and passing year that I work in the tattoo community. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Currently, I am tattooing at Somewhere Good Tattoo in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh, in addition to traveling with InkFusion Empire for conventions.

One of the greatest highlights of being a part of the InkFusion team has been becoming a LucasFilm licensed artist and traveling to Star Wars Celebration, as well as other incredible fan conventions to tattoo others who, like myself, share an enthusiasm for sci-fi/fantasy fandoms enough to create lifelong memories.

My interests are ever-evolving and I enjoy taking on a wide range of work, including realism, geometric blackwork, Japanese imagery, pop-culture subject matter, as well as any other fun projects my clients bring my way.

I never get tired of being challenged by how creative my clients are - oftentimes what we come up with together is more than the sum of our parts!
